Agritourism provides farmers and ranchers a valuable opportunity to diversify income and connect with visitors, yet small to mid-sized operations often face challenges in planning, marketing, and management due to limited resources. To address these issues, the AI-Powered Agritourism Toolkit, developed by the author using Python and HTML, offers an innovative web-based solution. This toolkit leverages datasets and machine learning to deliver user-specific insights through a chatbot. By streamlining operations, it helps users navigate complexities, enhance sustainability, and create engaging visitor experiences.
Agritourism plays a vital role in boosting economic impact while preserving environmental sustainability . However, agritourism businesses face challenges, including optimizing resources, attracting visitors, and navigating complex regulations while maintaining profitability. To address these challenges, the development of an innovative digital tool leveraging emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence (AI), is crucial to empower agritourism business stakeholders. The rapid advancement of Generative AI (GenAI) and Machine Learning (ML) technology offers transformative potential for enhancing economic and sustainable impacts. Agritourism involves a dynamic and often uncertain environment, where stakeholder needs and external factors like regulations or market trends can change rapidly.
