This session highlights Florida Cooperative Extension's (FCE) transformative journey to modernize data collection, analysis, and reporting methodologies. Grounded in FCE’s mission to foster healthy people, resilient environments, and strong economies, the initiative leverages advanced technologies to reduce administrative burdens and provide time back to faculty and staff. With a $2.7 million investment, FCE integrates tools like Snowflake, PEARS, Salesforce, and mySidewalk into a unified ecosystem that streamlines processes and delivers actionable insights.
Through a narrative approach, attendees will follow the experience of a new faculty Extension Agent (EA), gaining insights into the inefficiencies of traditional methods, the strategic impact of modernization, and the future potential of data-informed practices. The session emphasizes how institutions can enhance their data strategies while fostering collaboration opportunities aligned with FCE's needs-assessment-driven approach. Attendees will leave with actionable insights to empower impactful work and align academic missions with community-driven priorities.
